A victory of mechanics

If you asked Sherlock whether he had actually met the goddess on his hard drive, Sherlock could only give you two words.

Practically did!

The reason was simple. Satoru Gojo had indeed arranged a meeting for Sherlock, just as he had promised, but the goddamn meeting was in a filming studio!

There was none of the fan-service action Sherlock had been hoping for. All he got was a meeting in the dressing room, a handshake, a photo, an autograph, and, while she was at it, a business contact.

Afterward, Sherlock could only watch as the actress turned and walked onto the set with an elegant, sexy catwalk strut!

Fuck, this wasn't what I was looking forward to! This goddamn NTR feeling!

Sherlock nearly ground his back teeth to pieces!

When he walked out of the studio with a dark expression, the first thing Sherlock saw was Satoru Gojo watching him with a thoroughly obnoxious grin.

If that damned white-haired bastard of a cat in front of him hadn't done this on purpose, Sherlock would shove his own demonic balls straight into the big man's domain!

Especially when, the instant Gojo saw his expression, he pulled out his phone and took a burst of photos from every conceivable angle. The string called reason in Sherlock's head gave a crisp, mournful twang and snapped clean through.

For the first time in his life, Sherlock unleashed his Cursed Technique at full power-not to escape, but to attack!

Gojo had been about to savor the expression on his first disciple's face when Sherlock vanished without a trace, and at the same time, pain from a blow struck his calf.

Although, for a real man like Teacher Gojo, that pain was barely worse than a mosquito bite, his expression still changed drastically the instant he felt it.

He instantly put distance between himself and Sherlock, looking gravely at his so-called first disciple a short distance away.

The reason was simple: Sherlock's kick had broken clean through his fully automatic Limitless and actually landed on his calf.

Seeing Gojo's shocked expression, Sherlock put on the same nasty grin Gojo had worn.

"My dear Teacher Gojo, have you watched Naruto?"

Sherlock asked Gojo a completely unrelated question, but before Gojo could answer, Sherlock spoke again.

"My Cursed Technique is called Flying Thunder God. That's right, the Flying Thunder God from Naruto. Whenever I want, I can instantly go anywhere I've touched or left Cursed Energy, and I can freely adjust how far away from the marker I appear!"

Sherlock revealed his Cursed Technique to Gojo, and Gojo instantly realized exactly how Sherlock had broken through his Limitless.

Back at the police station, Gojo had voluntarily switched off Limitless at Masamichi Yaga's instruction, and Sherlock had hugged his leg right then!

He had thought it was just fooling around. He hadn't expected this kid's Cursed Technique to be so overpowered that it could even bypass Limitless!

The principle was actually simple. Put plainly, it was a matter of mechanics.

Gojo's Limitless infinitely divided the distance traversed by objects approaching him. It was a real-world manifestation of Zeno's tortoise.

But Sherlock's Flying Thunder God let him freely adjust the distance at which he appeared. In other words, Sherlock had managed to hit Gojo squarely in the calf because, as he attacked, he had set the distance between himself and the marker to zero!

This was a victory of mechanics!

Of course, it wasn't as though Gojo had no way to counter Sherlock's attacks. The simplest solution was to take off his pants, since his pants were all Sherlock had touched.

Or, more straightforwardly, he could simply shrink Limitless down to beneath his clothes, which would also defend against attacks from Sherlock's Flying Thunder God.

But that was how a loser thought!

He lowered his sunglasses, revealing his Six Eyes, which seemed like an expanse of sky, and looked at Sherlock. A faintly nasty smile appeared on his lips as well.

"Interesting!"

Sherlock couldn't care less what Gojo was thinking. Filled with the humiliation of NTR, he pointed at Gojo opposite him and roared like a madman.

"Regret what you've done today, and try challenging me! Take this! Secret technique: Flying Thunder God-Kick the Cripple's Good Leg!"

Although their minds worked in completely different ways, Gojo had somehow gotten on Sherlock's wavelength. When he heard the first half of Sherlock's declaration, he pointed at Sherlock too.

"You're the challenger! Take this, domain... never mind..."

Gojo had been excited, but when he heard Sherlock's godawful move name, "Kick the Cripple's Good Leg," the little flame of excitement in his heart vanished instantly, as though someone had dumped a bucket of cold water over it.

But Sherlock had no intention of letting Gojo off. He lunged toward Gojo, then vanished without a trace midway there.

And then... there was no "then."

Sherlock, a useless little weakling with absolutely no grounding in hand-to-hand combat, was promptly beaten flat by Gojo's martial arts. To restrain the wildly resisting Sherlock and prevent him from using his Cursed Technique to escape, Gojo even went to the nearby studio and, in a particularly inhuman move, paid a hefty sum for a set of ropes.

Most importantly, he even had the goddess from Sherlock's hard drive tie him up herself, smiling all the while.

By the time Sherlock had been bound in an extremely embarrassing pose without the slightest possibility of freeing himself, he was shedding tears of humiliation.

Just like that, Gojo stuffed him into the trunk of the assistant supervisor's car parked by the road, then smilingly told the assistant supervisor to drive to Jujutsu High.

Even when they entered Jujutsu High, Gojo personally carried the immobilized Sherlock inside.

Really, when Sherlock was tossed into Masamichi Yaga's office in such a shameful, humiliating pose, he wanted to die. He lay there like a dead fish, his face ashen, unwilling to so much as turn over.

Yaga had originally wanted to go through the formalities and ask Sherlock exactly what he had come here for, but seeing Sherlock lying motionless on the floor, he ultimately gave up.

Turning toward Gojo, who stood to one side with an obnoxious grin plastered across his face, Yaga could only wave a hand helplessly before telling him,

"I approve his enrollment. Satoru, take him to the dorm."

"O! K!"

Like the utter bastard of a cat he was, Gojo made an OK gesture at Yaga. Without another word, he used Blue to pull Sherlock into his hand, then turned and left with Sherlock in tow.

Watching the two leave, Yaga let out yet another helpless sigh.
