"Nine-Tails... Jinchūriki?"
Obito looked at Black Zetsu in bewilderment. For a moment, he genuinely wondered whether something was wrong with Black Zetsu's head.
Obito was probably among those who knew best who the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki was.
To put it bluntly, it was entirely thanks to him that there were now two Nine-Tails Jinchuriki!
Minato Namikaze had used the Sealing Jutsu on the Nine-Tails, but Kushina's physical condition had been terrible, so he had chosen to split the Nine-Tails into two halves, one for each of them.

But hadn't Hagoromo Otsutsuki split the Ten-Tails into nine? The Jinchūriki of all nine were accounted for.
That made this additional one seem particularly strange, no matter how he looked at it.
Sometimes he even wondered whether there could be another Ten-Tails in this world.
No one could answer that question for him, and he did not dare reveal the secret in his heart.
"It really is a Nine-Tails Jinchuriki."
Only after steadying himself a little did
