Late at night, Xia Yan walked slowly and quietly through the streets of Konoha.
As he walked, he checked the trees around him. It almost felt as though he had returned to more than ten years ago.
Xia Yan's system was interesting: it would not automatically analyze seeds he had already obtained, with the exception of seeds for basic attributes.
But at this stage, Xia Yan had little need for basic attribute seeds. It was not that he did not want to keep improving, but that his body had reached its limit.
He could be said to have reached the limit of his current stage. Until he grew older and his body developed into the next stage, he could not use any more.
Using them would damage his body instead, and Xia Yan was not about to do anything foolish under those circumstances.
"If I could still get a notification just by touching them, I wouldn't have to draw from every tree with that Senju Secret Technique."
Xia Yan grumbled inwardly, his hand already resting against a tree. Green chakra light swirled around his hand, and the tree before him trembled slightly.
Soon, the tree gave Xia Yan some feedback, and he could not help raising his eyebrows.
"An intermediate chakra seed?"
Withdrawing his hand and looking at the seed in his palm, Xia Yan gave a slight nod.
His haul tonight was fairly good. He had found two fire-affinity intermediate seeds, one earth-affinity seed, and one lightning-affinity seed, along with this chakra seed.
He could safely say he was very satisfied with such a haul.
Even though he had not found a single high-level seed, that was perfectly acceptable to him.
