The ten thousand Fire Worship Cult Elders were wiped out without causing much of a stir, an achievement that shocked all the players inside the Twin Observation Station.
But this had not come without a price.
Because the players had undergone Madmen Transformation, the command system had also descended into chaos. Headquarters and the players in each region struggled to establish effective communication, with only a tiny minority remaining unaffected.
Fortunately, the Combat Robots were unaffected. Battlefield footage was collected and transmitted to Zhang Zhi, then processed into brief battle reports displayed on the big screen, with several major battlefields marked and miniature views of the fighting provided.
The main decision-makers inside the Twin Observation Station still had a relatively clear grasp of the battle.

"But are we certain that remaining in a Madmen Transformation state for an extended period won't affect the players mentally and physically, or leave lasting aftereffects?"
