The elevator doors opened, and what met Su Na's eyes was... a sea of white...

It was as though overexposed film had washed everything white. Su Na was experiencing just that, and only then did her vision gradually clear and outlines emerge.

Salt Statues covered the ground. Many were broken, some reduced to severed limbs, like discarded sculptures piled together.

Yet the poses of these sculptures were full of motion, their features especially lifelike, as though they were not inanimate objects.

Judging by their condition, they seemed to have been struggling to stand even in the final moments of their lives. White Salt Spears had left puncture wounds in their bodies, and their faces were hideously contorted, as though they had witnessed something terrifying.

So many corpses like these were piled in this space that it was almost a landfill.

Apart from a cleared path down the middle, both sides were filled with these corpses, piled over ten meters high and stretching beyond sight.

Apart from the vertical elevator structure Su Na had emerged from, everything here consisted of these Salt Sculptures-or rather, people killed by the Salt Spike. Even the layer of sand on the ground counted: those were people whose bodies had not even retained their forms. The air, too, was filled with these particles of salt.

At the center of this graveyard, at the far end of the path leading from the elevator exit, the "white pile of corpses" had already grown into a mountain. At its summit stood a peculiar Throne made entirely of salt.

Unlike an ordinary throne, its back, base, and armrests were all formed from sharp, conical spears. Many protruded from the chair's surface, making it look less like something anyone could sit on and more like an instrument of torture.
