With his armor decided, Yang Yi began choosing the rest of his equipment.
The Broken Iron Greatsword and Roaring Flintlock were must-haves. Neither was affected by crystallization, and he was accustomed to using them.
He strapped the Broken Iron Greatsword to his back. The Penitent Armor had a built-in slot that could secure it, with an adjustable width to accommodate two-handed swords of various sizes.
The Roaring Flintlock went into the holster at his waist.
Yang Yi had crafted this holster entirely by hand from crystal diamond. It fit perfectly, though its design was rather rough, without any ornaments or patterns.
"Hmm..."
Yang Yi looked at the other equipment.
He had originally intended to bring the Ice Crystal Great Shield along as well.
But after trying it, he found that the shield and the Broken Iron Greatsword together were too heavy. They severely restricted his movement and increased his stamina consumption, making them unsuitable for a long trek.
"Maybe I could use it for skiing?"
Struck by an idea, Yang Yi looked at the crystallized Royal Trident beside him. The more he looked at it, the more it resembled a ski pole.
Their shapes were similar, after all. It was just a little long, but with a few modifications-attaching plates to its tail and front end to increase the surface area for pushing against snow-it could serve as a ski pole.
With that, his weapons were settled: these few, along with the Flame Serpent's Fang shortsword, which would not hinder his movements. He hung it on the other side of his waist.
"That's all the equipment. As for the Penitent Armor's helmet..."
Yang Yi looked himself over but found nowhere suitable to put the helmet. In the end, he turned his attention to the Maw of Gluttony.
Three hours later,
