There had originally been no Tianyuan Sect in the world, but Tianyuan Daoist had attained the Dao on Tianyuan Mountain and taught without distinction. Anyone with the requisite affinity, whether immortal, demon, devil, Buddhist, spirit, or ghost, could enter to hear his lectures and comprehend wondrous arts, even the supreme Tianyuan Mystical Art.
Moved by Tianyuan Daoist's great achievements, some began calling themselves his disciples, gradually developing into the Tianyuan Sect.
Ever since the Dragon-Controlling Sect's patriarch had ascended a hundred thousand years ago, the Nine Heavens Sacred Ground had stood supreme.
It sought to establish Central Jun Heaven as its core, with eight heavens surrounding it, bringing the other eight great Immortal Sects fully into the Nine Heavens system and unifying the True Immortal Great World.
This overbearing act had brought Tianyuan Daoist to its doorstep. He had blockaded the Nine Heavens Sacred Ground for three years, and despite exhausting every means at their disposal, its nine Sacred Lords had been helpless against him. From then on, it had quieted down, occupying the central continent while awaiting its time.
After that battle, Tianyuan Daoist had also been honored as the foremost expert in the True Immortal Great World.
At that moment, on the Enlightenment Platform where Tianyuan Daoist had attained the Dao, a dozen or so outstanding young talents sat before the Tianyuan Jade Wall, upon which the mysteries of the Tianyuan Art were inscribed, deep in contemplation of the Dao. The Tianyuan Art was said to renew the primordial unity and be the source of all arts, containing every transformation of the world's great Daos.
