"How did it go? Did the mission go smoothly?"

"Very smoothly."
"Konoha is busy dealing with Kumogakure's invasion right now. Their routine patrols are practically nonexistent."
"Everyone in the village is on edge, too. We used Earth Release to sneak near the Memorial Stone and took the remains without alerting anyone."
The other added:
"We didn't encounter any obstacles along the way, either. Konoha has its hands full. No one noticed anyone tampering with the Memorial Stone."
Xuandou burst out laughing at their report.
Those Kumogakure fellows really hadn't disappointed him.
