Xuandou looked at the Mission Panel that appeared in his mind, then at the furious girl before him. A faint smile rose to his lips.
Master and disciple reunited, sharing the joys of family?
The system certainly made it sound nice.
Given my temperament, I certainly don't like fooling around.
But since the mission has already been issued, I can only reluctantly take in this girl called Mashu.
While Xuandou was thinking, Mashu spoke up again, berating him.
"Uchiha Xuantou, don't pretend to be silent!"
"I know all about your atrocities!"
Xuandou immediately raised his head at her words and looked at her with interest, a faint smile rising to his lips:
"Oh? Then tell me, what atrocities have I committed?"
Without a moment's hesitation, Mashu said:
"In the last Great Shinobi World War, you, Uchiha Xuantou, led Konoha ninja in an invasion of our Land of Wind."
"Along the way, the ninja army you led burned, killed, and looted through our towns. Haven't you committed enough atrocities?"
"Do you know how many innocent people in the Land of Wind were displaced because of what you did?"
"Our villages were burned down, our farmland trampled, and our people huddled in the desert, shivering..."
"Did you turn a blind eye to all of that?"
Xuandou froze for a moment at her words, then laughed.
He made no attempt to conceal anything and said bluntly:
"You're right. I, Uchiha Xuantou, did indeed do those things!"
"But all I did was follow your Sunagakure's example."
"After all, when it comes to plundering other countries, your Sunagakure has done every bit as much as I have, if not more."
As though she had heard some outrageous joke, Mashu immediately retorted:
"That's a lie!"
"Our Sunagakure could never do anything so evil!"
"We're a righteous
