"Could this Difference Engine actually upgrade and evolve?!"
Excitement surged through Elliot, and he immediately began testing this brand-new [Deduction] slot.
No matter how he looked at it, "Deduction" seemed like an incredibly powerful ability!
If it really could deduce the future-
Unfortunately, only after testing it did he discover that this [Deduction] slot was somewhat different from what he had imagined.
For instance, when he inserted Allen's Character Card, the result of the [Deduction] was, "He will eat a meal made by Dorothea at noon today."
It was a very brief deduction, but it seemed somewhat useful.
For example, that sentence contained plenty of basic information, such as "Allen will live until noon," "Dorothea will cook at noon," and "He will come back for lunch."
The problem, however, was that this [Deduction] progressed far too slowly.
Deducing what would happen to Allen five minutes later took an hour, and deducing what Allen would eat for lunch today took two whole days.
In other words, by the time the result came out, that meal would already have been eaten yesterday-
The results were fairly accurate, but there was simply no way to put them to use.
Even so, Elliot still found one practical use for this slot-as a humming sound rose, the countdown on the [Deduction] slot ended, and a Card popped out.
[Dream Memory · Study]

After meeting Vanessa in a dream, Vanessa, Allen, and the others had entered dreams one after another and begun exploring them.
After repeated attempts, Elliot finally discovered how this [Dream Entry] worked.
As long as he put a Character Card in, that character would enter the Dream World when they went to sleep that night.
Everyone's dream was an independent "island," but if he
