Next came those with the [Believer] prefix, such as [Follower Dorothea Ramsey]. He could have them trigger events.
He could place [Follower Dorothea Ramsey] and a location into [Exploration] together, and Dorothea would suddenly feel like exploring that place, as though answering some sort of call.
However, he had no control over the details of the process, nor could he go against the character's own will, but he could use the Difference Engine to see what happened during the exploration.
For example, if Dorothea was hungry at the time, she would very likely abandon the exploration and go have a meal first.
Below that, there was almost no difference.
For example, he could not control [Flora Belenga Lancaster] at all, nor could he see what happened around her.
He could only perform certain forced actions, such as having Vanessa engage in [Conversation] with her, or, for instance-[Dream Entry].
That was how he had brought Flora into dreams with him the previous few times.
This was also the starting point of his plan.
What truly brought about a fundamental change in all this was the new Difference Engine.
On the old Difference Engine, a Card would only form once he knew relatively specific information about someone or had interacted with them.
The new Difference Engine used stage scenery instead. In other words, as long as someone appeared near Vanessa, there would be a Puppet, and he could toss it into [Dream Entry].
And Vanessa had [Spirit Vision], which allowed her to vaguely sense who was the Supernatural person.
