"The Fog Horn Fraternity?"
Dorothea rubbed her head with a slight headache. "How did you manage that?"
"Heh-heh!"
Vanessa's face blurred, then gradually became that of a sickly man.
"Well? I changed my identity and casually sounded them out, and they actually let me join. This organization really is lax."
She began recounting it all, barely able to wait.
As it turned out, the Fog Horn Fraternity was closer to a workers' assembly; supernatural powers actually played only a small part.
They focused more on mutual aid among ordinary people.
Based on Dorothea and Allen's experiences in the factory, Vanessa had fabricated a false identity and actually managed to get in.
"But their organization is strange. They have neither an organizer nor a leader. They just maintain simple contact around a few Supernatural people, like..." Vanessa scratched her head. "A society with its leaders removed?"
"No leader? Wouldn't that leave them completely disorganized? How have they not split apart?"
The Fog Horn Fraternity was not small. In theory, such a large, loose organization should easily have split into little groups, each doing its own thing and refusing to listen to the others. "That's the impressive part. Their [Holy Scripture] gives them instructions!"
"Instructions? You mean the sort of vague..."
"No, no, no. They worship the [Holy Scripture] through a ritual, and clear instructions appear on it! By following those instructions, they can receive the [Holy Scripture]'s blessings!"
Dorothea frowned. "Why does something about this feel wrong?"
"It is wrong, like someone is controlling things behind the scenes... But most of the instructions in the [Holy Scripture] are very simple, like 'recruit believers' or 'the Night Watch Bureau is investigating, so keep a lower profile.' There are even things unrelated to the supernatural, like 'this winter will be very cold, so
