After leaving the Teaching Building, Yao Xuan did not hurry home. Instead, he quietly waited downstairs.

Just as Yao Xuan assimilated another cluster of free-floating Soul Power, a crisp crack suddenly seemed to sound within his Sea of Consciousness. It was as though some restraint binding him had shattered. Yao Xuan knew that he had successfully broken through—to level ten.

Since he had not yet fused with a Soul Spirit, Yao Xuan could not yet truly be called a Soul Master. He could only be called a Quasi-Soul Master. Only after fusing with a Soul Spirit and obtaining a soul skill would he truly enter the Soul Master realm.

For Yao Xuan, fusing with a Soul Spirit naturally would not be difficult. Thus, he silently withdrew his Spiritual Power, stopped the Five Hearts Towards Heaven Art, and opened his eyes.
