Wangchuan blinked.
Beneath his feet was a solid wooden deck, with high bulwarks and thick masts around him.
The air was thick with the smell of gunpowder, rust, and the salty tang of the sea breeze.
Deafening battle cries, cannon fire, and the dull crashes of something enormous being torn apart came from the distance.
He was standing on the deck of a ship.

In his right hand, he held an enormous naginata.
Wangchuan's gaze lingered on that figure for two seconds.
Then he recognized him.
"Whitebeard."
He quickly looked around.
On either side of the ship were two enormous tsunamis forcibly frozen in midair.
Those towering waves could have swallowed an entire island, yet now they had solidified into two walls of ice reaching into the clouds.
Combined with the words from just now...
"Ice Age."
Wangchuan quietly repeated the phrase, and the curve of his lips slowly deepened.
"The Paramount War."
He uttered those words with the delight of someone who had won the lottery.
"Where the hell have I ended up?"
"Tsk, tsk, tsk."
"They dropped me straight into the climax."
"The Paramount War."
"Getting to watch this in person makes the whole trip worthwhile."
He surveyed the battlefield
