Guyue Qingxiao joined Tokyo Jujutsu High after surviving a deadly tunnel battle, then formed close ties with his classmates during training and their first mission. When two Curse Users attacked the group, Qingxiao faced Kamo Xiansheng while Satoru Gojo went after Wengu Che.

• Guyue Qingxiao killed a Semi-Grade 1 Cursed Spirit in Aoyama Tunnel with his first Black Flash, then recovered under Shoko Ieiri’s care.
• Masamichi Yaga welcomed Qingxiao into the first-year class with Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko Ieiri, and Qingxiao broke the gym’s backboard during a basketball game.
• Qingxiao and Shoko grew closer on the way to their first mission, while Gojo and Geto secretly planned to give them time together.
• Qingxiao defeated a Grade 2 Cursed Spirit at an abandoned construction site and left it alive for Suguru Geto to absorb.
• Gojo separated Qingxiao and Shoko from himself and Geto on Shopping Street, but explosions struck the area and Qingxiao protected Shoko from flying debris.
• Kamo Xiansheng and Wengu Che attacked Gojo and Geto, and Qingxiao joined the fight after carrying Shoko to safety.
• Qingxiao disrupted Kamo Xiansheng’s ranged attacks with Cursed Energy-coated rebar, then faced him in close combat as Kamo activated Flowing Red Scale.

Qingxiao grew closer to Shoko while training, choosing cursed tools, and celebrating her birthday with their friends. When Qingxiao, Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto left for a mission, they faced the Special Grade Rainbow Dragon, and Qingxiao and his companions trapped it for Satoru Gojo’s maximum-output Blue.

• Qingxiao killed Kamo Xiansheng with a Black Flash, and Satoru Gojo arrived with the unconscious Wengu Che.
• Qingxiao proposed killing Wengu Che so Suguru Geto could absorb the cursed spirit that emerged, and the group later defeated a powerful mole cursed spirit.
• The higher-ups promoted Qingxiao to Semi-Grade 1 and let him choose cursed tools, including a Black Hole Ring and a silver lighter for Shoko.
• Qingxiao comforted Shoko when she admitted she was tired and scared, then trained with the Black Hole Ring and sparred with Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo.
• After failing to form a barrier, Qingxiao resolved to develop an Open Domain suited to his strengths.
• Qingxiao gave Shoko the silver lighter for her birthday, and she joined Qingxiao, Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto for an amusement-park outing and dinner.

Qingxiao fought Kenjaku after discovering that Nagayumi Jin had been possessed, then learned from Tengen that Jin’s soul was gone and grieved with his friends. After time passed and the students advanced to their second year, Qingxiao welcomed Yu Haibara and Kento Nanami and led them on their first mission, where another Cursed Spirit attacked him.

• Qingxiao recovered from his battle with Rainbow Dragon, then gave Shoko a winter hat, scarf, and gloves and began growing closer to her.
• Qingxiao left on a separate assignment to meet Nagayumi Jin, but found Kenjaku occupying Jin’s body and attacked him.
• Qingxiao fought Kenjaku through a brutal battle, mastered Reverse Cursed Technique using Heavenly Motion, and forced Kenjaku to flee after an upperclassman was killed.
• Qingxiao reported Kenjaku’s possession of Jin to Jujutsu High, then learned from Tengen that Jin’s soul was gone and vowed to keep Kenjaku’s return secret.
• Qingxiao told Shoko, Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto that Jin was dead, grieved with them, and later carved Jin’s name onto a gravestone in the back mountain.
• Qingxiao, Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko advanced to their second year and welcomed Yu Haibara and Kento Nanami to Jujutsu High.
• Qingxiao trained Nagayumi Jin in combat, while Yu Haibara and Kento Nanami joined the second-years and prepared for their first mission.
• Qingxiao led Yu Haibara and Kento Nanami into an abandoned building, where Nanami exorcised a Grade 4 Cursed Spirit before another attacked Qingxiao from behind.

Qingxiao helped escort Riko Amanai, then fought Toji Fushiguro and took responsibility for Toji’s children after defeating him. With Riko safe and his wounds treated, Qingxiao prepared for the Goodwill Event, where Naoya Zenin challenged him over Toji’s death.

• Qingxiao exorcised a cursed spirit with Yu Haibara and Kento Nanami, received Tao Gang’s knuckle dusters Xiqu, and shared a seaside getaway with Shoko Ieiri.
• After a cursed spirit attack at the mansion, Qingxiao, Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto were ordered to escort Riko Amanai to Tengen, and they were attacked by Curse Users along the way.
• At the Tombs of the Star Corridor, Qingxiao and Suguru Geto offered to protect Riko’s choice to live, but Toji Fushiguro arrived and Qingxiao stayed behind to fight him.
• Toji severed Qingxiao’s arm and later stabbed him repeatedly, but Qingxiao restored his body and soul, used Black Flashes to destroy Toji’s weapons, and defeated him.
• Before dying, Toji entrusted Qingxiao with the Inverted Spear of Heaven, the Soul Liberation Blade fragments, and the question of what to do about his son, and Qingxiao then took Megumi and Tsumiki into his care.
• Shoko treated Qingxiao’s injuries, and he promised himself to stop hiding things from her, and he also helped Suguru Geto make Cursed Spirit Orbs taste like strawberry cake and learned that Riko would be protected by the Gojo Clan.
• Shoko chose new clothes for Qingxiao, and he invited her to attend the upcoming Goodwill Event as medical support.
• At the Goodwill Event venue, Qingxiao promised Shoko a victory and ice cream, while Naoya Zenin accused him of killing Toji through dirty tricks and Qingxiao challenged him to settle it in the competition.
