After Shihōin Naraku finished speaking, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha understood that they were unlikely to stop him.
As for going along with him, that probably was not feasible either.
Naruto opened his mouth, wanting to say more, but Sasuke raised a hand and pressed it against his shoulder.
"Stop arguing." Sasuke was always concise.
"But..."
"If we go along, we really will slow the Hokage down."
Sasuke slowly closed and reopened his Rinnegan, reining in his eye power slightly. "Besides, those two really aren't in any condition to mount a decent counterattack."
He took his hand off Naruto's shoulder and continued, "The Hokage can move much faster alone than the three of us can together."
