Tsunade paused, her gaze settling on Kakashi Hatake.
"We still can't be completely certain that Shihōin Naraku is trapped in an alternate space and unable to return."
"It's also possible that Naraku has already returned to the Shinobi World, but was seriously injured and can't use the Flying Thunder God Technique to return to the village."
"He might be somewhere we don't know about, waiting for us to find him."
Kakashi nodded, his expression serious. "Understood. I'll have the ANBU's Intelligence Division split up and take action."
"I'll also gather intelligence from our spies in the Great Shinobi Villages to see whether there have been any unusual movements."
Tsunade nodded. "Also, keep an eye on Sasuke. We need his ability to rescue Naraku. If anything goes wrong with his training, it'll slow our progress."
"I understand."
Only after giving those instructions did Tsunade manage to breathe a slight sigh of relief.
"That's all for now, then. Go back and rest. You've all been busy for days."
Shikaku began gathering the scrolls and ledgers on the table, stacking them neatly.
Kakashi pushed open the door and walked out.
Shikaku bowed slightly to Tsunade and Jiraiya, then followed him out of the office.
Once the door closed, only Tsunade and Jiraiya remained in the office.
Jiraiya walked over to the chair opposite Tsunade and sat down.
"Don't worry."
