In the Kumogakure camp, the staff officers at the command center were drawing up battle plans.

Although he knew there was little hope, he could not simply give up.
Walking out of the command center, the Fourth Raikage looked up at the blazing mountain and wished he could strike the Konoha ninja at its summit dead with a bolt of lightning, especially Shihōin Naraku!

A shattered a tree with one punch, the lingering anger still on his face.
Back in the command center, he had been holding his anger in the entire time.
"Yugito Nii, B, Darui..."
At the thought of those three and the other Cloud ninja who had died, A's eyes turned red with fury, as though he were about to awaken the Sharingan.
A Cloud ninja squad patrolling the camp noticed the disturbance and came over, only to quietly leave again when they saw it was the Raikage.
The Fourth Raikage's loss of composure was understandable. After all, so many of their comrades had died.
With A's explosive temper, holding out this long had already been no easy feat.
His swinging fist hit empty air, and A staggered. Only when he came to his senses did he realize that he had broken another tree, which crashed to the ground.
Glaring at the flames shrouding the mountain, A's fearsome muscles bulged all over his body. He wished he could charge straight up and fight the Konoha ninja.
But his last shred of reason told him he could not do that!
"If B weren't still unconscious with serious injuries, a single Tailed Beast Bomb could flatten the summit and wipe out the Konoha ninja force!"
