Compared to the other departments Naraku had worked in before, the Konoha Education Department's work was not particularly difficult, but it was extremely tedious.

Now that Naraku had taken over as head of the Education Department, however, he might not concern himself too much with the specific work, but he did need to take responsibility for certain broader tasks.
"Hakusui, this is Lady Tsunade's letter of appointment. Starting today, you are the Education Department's deputy head!"

"That's enough." Naraku waved a hand, paying little mind to his reaction. "Since we've appointed you deputy department head, Lord Hokage and I clearly think highly of you. Go and get to work."
"Yes!"
"Thank you, Lord Naraku!"
Harada Hakusui bowed again before leaving with the other subordinates in the office, who were all filled with envy.
Sure enough, his constitution really is somewhat stronger than an ordinary Chunin's. It seems the rumors that he's a Senju Clan descendant aren't false.
