"Roar!"
The Two-Tails, Matatabi, had lost her reason. She roared furiously, her eyes burning with blue flames as she stared fixedly at Akame, who had appeared before her.
Before Akame could even steady her footing, an enormous fireball came hurtling straight at her, its scorching heat threatening to swallow her whole.
The fiercely burning tongues of flame made the air crackle faintly, and Akame could already make out a scorched smell.
Boom!
The enormous fireball burst before Akame, engulfing her!
But by then, Akame had already leaped high into the air, evading the Two-Tails' first wave of fireballs.
Suddenly, a shadow fell over her. Akame looked up to find the Two-Tails' massive body already overhead, gleaming claws reaching toward her.
Taking that hit would be no laughing matter.
Clang!
Akame instantly drew her sword, bringing Kogarasu before her at the last possible moment. Sparks flew as claw and blade locked briefly, both sides pouring out their strength in a continuous contest of force!
"Hah!"
With a low shout, Akame swept her sword across to knock aside Matatabi's claws. She twisted sideways to evade her pounce, raised her right leg, and lashed it viciously into the Two-Tails' body. Tremendous force erupted, instantly sending the Two-Tails flying.
Boom!
Matatabi struggled as she crashed down from the air, striking the ground and leaving an enormous crater.
Shing!
A flash of sword light followed close behind, slashing viciously into the Two-Tails. Intense pain spread through her entire body, making her howl in agony!
"I'm not done yet!"
"Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence!"
Crack...
Several fissures split the ground, and countless great trees rose out of it, roots and all. In a mere instant, a dense forest had grown around the Two-Tails.
"Awroo..."
Matatabi's two long tails thrashed behind her, smashing apart the many branches
