Tsunade narrowed her eyes slightly and raised a hand to point at Jiraiya.
"All right, all right, I get it."
Jiraiya spread his hands. Although Tsunade had stopped him, he knew she was worried about his safety, so he was not annoyed.
"So, what were you discussing?" Jiraiya promptly changed the subject. "When I knocked just now, I didn't hear any voices inside."
Tsunade glared at Jiraiya before explaining, "We were thinking about how to deal with the coming turmoil in the shinobi world!"
"Oh, right. You already know what happened in the Land of Lightning, don't you?"
"Yes."
"We have a serious problem now. Kumogakure has already lodged a protest."
Jiraiya tilted his head, somewhat puzzled. Akatsuki had captured Kumogakure's tailed beast, but that had nothing to do with Konoha. What could they possibly protest about?
Tsunade sighed. "One of Akatsuki's members is a girl who appeared for the first time. She's very strong. Not only does she have sharp swordsmanship, but she also possesses powerful Wood Release Ninjutsu!"
"So Kumogakure believes this must have something to do with Konoha. At the very least, they insist the Wood Release Ninjutsu must have been leaked from us."
"Seriously?!"
Jiraiya frowned. "But if the Cloud Ninja weren't mistaken, that girl with Wood Release Ninjutsu might be Orochimaru's doing."
"Yes, that's what we think too. Orochimaru has a history of this, after all. Who knows when his experiments succeeded again?"
"A battle broke out not far outside Konoha a while ago. I sent ANBU to investigate, and they found traces left by Wood Release Ninjutsu at the scene. We suspected then that it must have something to do with Orochimaru."
"But we never expected Orochimaru's test subject to join Akatsuki!"
