For the safety of the village's ninja, Tsunade was willing to share limited information about the Akatsuki with others, but she also worried that it might cast suspicion on Uchiha Itachi.
"It's fine. Some information about the Akatsuki isn't exactly secret anyway." Naraku shook his head and added, "Iwagakure, Kumogakure, and some smaller ninja villages have hired the Akatsuki many times."
"So some information about them stopped being secret long ago."
"But the Akatsuki didn't draw much attention before. Although they took on missions, they kept as low a profile as possible, so most people aren't very familiar with them."
"But as long as the major ninja villages get serious, some of that information will be easy to obtain."
"So we don't need to worry too much."
Listening to Naraku's explanation, Tsunade thought it over and realized that was indeed the case.
This was not the first time members of the Akatsuki had appeared in the Shinobi World. They inevitably came into contact with people while carrying out all sorts of dangerous missions. Over time, no matter how well they hid themselves, some information would leak without their noticing.
"All right, we'll do that."
"Shikaku, you're the Jonin Commander, so you'll be in charge of this! Remember to pass down orders that no jonin is to leak the information."
"Yes!"
Tsunade glanced at Kakashi and added, "Also, Kakashi, you'll help Shikaku."
"Yes, Lady Tsunade!"
Kakashi gave a bitter chuckle and could only accept the order. He knew the Hokage was very displeased that he was focusing all his energy on Obito Uchiha.
But there was nothing he could do. He could not help himself!
"One more thing!" Tsunade turned to Naraku. "Didn't I ask you to track down information on Orochimaru?
