Sure enough, the more he worried about something, the more likely it was to happen.
The final two appointments had indeed only given him two reward opportunities. He had nearly fallen short of enough for ten draws!
"Sure, there's a chance of randomly getting just one reward opportunity, but this is too much of a coincidence. System, are you deliberately cheating me out of reward opportunities?"
Scratching his head, Shihōin Naraku took the chance to accuse the system, hoping to squeeze a few more opportunities out of it. But the system showed no intention of responding. It seemed there was no hope.

Mitaraishi Anko came over, while Genma Shiranui, Ibiki Morino, Kotetsu Hagane, and the others nearby took their leave.
After deciding on the examiners and other personnel for the Chunin Ninja Exams and reporting his choices to Hiruzen Sarutobi for approval, Shihōin Naraku had called everyone together for a meeting to assign their tasks.
The exam locations had already been decided. Apart from the initial classroom exam, the sites for the other two rounds needed to be inspected in person by the examiners and their subordinates.
They needed to check things such as whether the grounds required repairs and whether any fierce beasts in the Forest of Death-Training Ground 44-had suddenly grown stronger.
An exam for genin to advance to chunin naturally could not have any outrageously powerful beasts. The examiners needed to clear those out!
Shihōin Naraku glanced at the rather overly lively Mitaraishi Anko and said, "You're an examiner this time too. Act a little more like a jonin."
Mitaraishi Anko blinked. "Heeheehee... Want me to eliminate them all in the second round?"
"You can try. See if the Third slaps you to death."
