The explosions continued for a long time before finally dying down.
And this time, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha finally finished their battle.
Unlike before, when they had remained conscious amid the explosions, both had passed out.
Standing high in the sky, Shihōin Naraku looked down at the two of them without approaching right away.
"I'll wait a little longer, until they wake up."
He also knew that although the battle was over, they might start fighting again if he did not give them time for a heart-to-heart.
"In that case, I'll get some rest first."

Shihōin Naraku's figure flashed through the sky, then landed silently before Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, looking down at them.
He had arrived a little late.
Their battle had long since ended, and by now they had been lying here all night.
Of course, this was also to let them have a good talk and untangle the resentment and conflict knotted in their hearts.
Now, they clearly seemed to be getting along much better than before the battle.
Evidently, Naruto and Sasuke had talked things through after the battle, completely resolving their differences.

Perhaps it was fate, or perhaps it was coincidence.
Naruto and Sasuke had still lost their arms, just as in the original story.
That was normal, too. Their final showdown had still been a clash of attacks at close range, so naturally, injuring their arms was perfectly normal.
There was nothing surprising about this outcome.
