"Obito definitely had plenty of Sharingan left behind by ninja from your Uchiha Clan!"
"There's no doubt about that!"
Shihōin Naraku tossed the documents in his hand onto the desk and tapped them with a bent finger. "After the village analyzed what the Search Team sent back, they found some clues."
"Clues related to the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan."
Sasuke Uchiha's eyes lit up at those words, and he immediately reached out and grabbed the documents.
Naraku was not surprised by Sasuke's eager reaction. He simply picked up the teacup on the desk and took an unhurried sip.
There was not much in the documents, yet Sasuke read more and more slowly.
His fingers gradually tightened around the edges of the paper, his knuckles turning pale, and his breathing grew heavy.
"These..." Sasuke's voice was strained. "These... are they true?"
"Yes."
Naraku set down his teacup. "It's the information you found in the hidden laboratory at the Mountain Graveyard."
"But what you originally sent back included all sorts of things: damaged experimental equipment, disorganized documents, logs, and so on..."
"Only after the Analysis Team and ANBU sorted through it did they discover some key information Obito had inadvertently recorded."
"But you should also be prepared. Some of what Obito recorded was rather vague."
"Although we can now confirm he had quite a few Sharingan stored away, their exact storage locations are unclear."
"You'll have to find them yourself."
Having said that, Naraku watched Sasuke, whose breathing had quickened.
Sasuke had long since matured and was no longer as impulsive or extreme as before, but anything involving the Uchiha Clan still stirred his emotions.
There was no helping that.
Sasuke could not bring his dead clansmen back to life, but at the very least, he felt responsible for recovering those missing Sharingan.
