After Hiruzen’s death, Shihōin Naraku helped secure Tsunade’s appointment as Fifth Hokage and took command against Kumogakure. He defeated Darui and Matatabi, but Killer B escaped with Yugito’s remains and the conflict reached the front line, where Dodai’s forces overwhelmed Konoha’s defenses.

• Kakashi’s reinforcements routed the Sand and Sound forces, while Naraku captured Baki’s group and struck the Four Violet Flames Formation with Kurikara.
• After Kimimaro sacrificed himself to save Orochimaru, Hiruzen died, and Naraku confronted Orochimaru as he fled the village.

• Shihōin Naraku led Konoha’s victory in the Land of Hot Water and pursued the Cloud Ninja into the Land of Lightning, while Uchiha Itachi returned to Konoha with Zabuza Momochi and Haku.
• Tsunade appointed Shihōin Naraku a senior adviser, and Naraku used his new powers and Gore Magala before discovering Itachi’s battle with Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy in Konoha.

Shihōin Naraku defeated Kumogakure and Iwagakure, secured peace for Konoha, and returned to help reshape the village. As Jiraiya departed to train Naruto, Naraku took charge of rebuilding Konoha’s barrier while Killer B remained unconscious on Turtle Island.

• Shihōin Naraku killed the Fourth Raikage A, ended the fighting with Kumogakure, and ordered peace talks while Konoha began mapping the Land of Lightning.
• Orochimaru and Kabuto Yakushi reconsidered their plans after witnessing Naraku’s power, while Nagato and Konan tested Flame Mountain and Deva Path Pain was badly burned.

• Ōnoki retired and Han became Iwagakure’s Fourth Tsuchikage, while Naraku completed Konoha’s new Sensory Barrier and resigned as its leader.
• Naraku agreed to grow and transplant a cloned leg for Kurotsuchi after Ōnoki promised the Shihōin Clan free trade in Iwagakure and paid his fee.
