The Allied Shinobi Forces fought off attacks at the daimyo refuge and the Land of Waves as the battles against the reanimated shinobi intensified. Itachi revealed the truth of the Uchiha massacre to Sasuke, who sought answers from Hashirama, but Nagato’s Planetary Devastation caught their group in its pull.

• Might Guy shattered the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist with Morning Peacock, allowing the Allied Shinobi Forces to move in and seal them.
• Mei Terumi defended the daimyo refuge while Naraku and the Allied command discovered that White Zetsu and reanimated Kirigakure shinobi were preparing a tsunami against the Land of Waves.
• Hyuga Hiashi found thirty thousand White Zetsu beneath the seabed, prepared defensive trenches, and led the First Division through the tsunami before they counterattacked the invading army.
• Tobirama Senju battled Uchiha Itachi, using explosive tags and sealing talismans against him before Sasuke Uchiha arrived and interrupted the fight.
• Sasuke demanded the truth about the Uchiha massacre, and Itachi recounted the clan’s destruction before leaving Sasuke to decide what to do.
• Jiraiya persuaded Sasuke to ask Hashirama Senju about the village and clan, and Tobirama led the group toward Hashirama’s battle with Nagato.
• Nagato unleashed Planetary Devastation, lifting the earth and the arriving group into the air, while Tobirama appeared beside Hashirama and asked whether they should leave.

Shihōin Naraku reinforced the Fourth Division and sealed several reanimated Kage while the Allied Shinobi Forces fought on multiple fronts. As Naraku and Gaara prepared to reinforce the main battlefield, Mu summoned Madara Uchiha, who emerged and challenged Naraku.

• Tobirama Senju rescued Hashirama Senju, Jiraiya, Sasuke Uchiha, and Uchiha Itachi from Planetary Devastation, and Hashirama began recounting Konoha’s founding and his history with Madara Uchiha.
• At the Land of Waves, the Allied Shinobi Forces fought Hizashi Hyuga, Dan Katō, Kinkaku, Ginkaku, and the White Zetsu Army, eventually sealing the two brothers and winning the battle in the Land of Frost as well.
• Shihōin Naraku left headquarters to reinforce Gaara’s Fourth Division, while Kakashi Hatake led the main front against the White Zetsu Army and Naruto Uzumaki joined the fight.
• Naraku sealed Hozuki Gengetsu, then defeated Third Raikage A after a fierce battle and learned that A had freed himself from the Impure World Reincarnation Jutsu.
• Naraku found and sealed Mu, and he and Gaara prepared to regroup before Mu’s clone summoned Madara Uchiha.
• Madara Uchiha emerged from the coffin, learned from Kabuto Yakushi that Nagato was dead, and focused on Naraku after sensing his power.
• Naraku identified himself as Konoha’s Sixth Hokage and Supreme Commander of the Allied Shinobi Forces, while Madara dismissed him as unworthy to stand before him.

Shihōin Naraku fought Madara Uchiha while the Allied Shinobi Forces withdrew from their battlefield, then the story shifted to the Third Division’s desperate struggle against the White Zetsu Army. Mifune’s Fifth Division and Ōnoki’s Second Division arrived to reinforce them as Obito Uchiha prepared to deploy the revived ninja.

• Shihōin Naraku overwhelmed Madara Uchiha with powerful attacks, destroyed his meteorites with a Kamehameha, and forced Madara to reveal his Perfect Susanoo.
• Shihōin Naraku summoned the Immovable Wisdom King and battled Madara’s Perfect Susanoo while Gaara, Tsunade, and the Allied Shinobi Forces withdrew.
• The White Zetsu Army attacked the Third Division, and its disguises and overwhelming numbers drove Kakashi Hatake’s forces into retreat.
• Naruto Uzumaki exposed disguised White Zetsu by sensing malice, but the Third Division continued to lose ground until Might Guy arrived and attacked with Daytime Tiger.
• Mifune led the Fifth Division in a flank attack that relieved pressure on Kakashi’s Third Division, while Obito Uchiha ordered Kabuto Yakushi to send revived ninja into battle.
• Naruto Uzumaki failed to save a dying young Allied ninja as Mifune and Kakashi tried to hold their joined forces’ position.
• Ōnoki arrived with the Second Division and used Earth Release: Moving Earth Core to launch countless White Zetsu into the air.

The Allied Shinobi Forces drove back the White Zetsu, survived a nighttime infiltration, and regrouped as reinforcements arrived. While commanders prepared for a renewed war, Shihōin Naraku and Madara Uchiha continued their devastating battle.

• Ōnoki led the Second Division through the White Zetsu encirclement, and Naruto, Minato, and Might Guy helped it reach Kakashi before the enemy retreated.
• Hizashi Hyuga reunited with Neji on the battlefield, then returned to the world of the dead after saying goodbye as Hiashi led the Allied Shinobi Forces to victory.
• The Allied forces counted heavy casualties and fought off more than a thousand White Zetsu infiltrators, with Naruto and Kakashi helping secure the camp.
• Gaara and Tsunade arrived with the Fourth Division and reported that Shihōin Naraku was fighting the revived Madara Uchiha.
• The commanders reorganized their forces and arranged for Dodai to take command, with Shikamaru Nara assisting him.
• Naraku and Madara clashed with the Immovable Heavenly King and Perfect Susanoo, trading attacks that damaged both constructs as they rapidly regenerated.
• Madara tore apart Naraku’s Black Dragon with a chakra sword, and Naraku praised him, provoking Madara’s resentment.
