After Allen left the hall, he saw Hannes walking toward him. "Allen, do you have time? Let's talk." Hannes then fell into step beside him.

"Allen, what do you think of Rhys's approach?" Allen looked at him strangely. Hannes had been so supportive of Mage Rhys just now, so why was he suddenly asking him this?

He was silent for a moment before answering, "Mage Rhys isn't wrong. I just think we have to consider the cost."

Hannes nodded in agreement, but then added, "But will the potion work properly without magic? Sorry, I'm getting a little anxious. I don't think there's anything wrong with your approach. It's just a little too slow." He looked at Allen apologetically.

Allen waved a hand to show he did not mind, then said, "I just want to tell you that there are many ways to solve a problem. Magic isn't always the best choice."

Hannes was a little surprised to hear this. He could hardly imagine a mage saying such a thing, but after thinking it over carefully, he felt it made a great deal of sense.

Finally, Hannes patted him on the shoulder and praised him. "Honestly, you're completely different from every mage I've met. But there's no doubt you have a mage's wisdom."

Allen shook his head, feeling it was nothing special. They soon returned to the barracks, and he began preparing to assist Mage Rhys.

A few days later, they produced an antidote, but its effects seemed less than ideal. Although the potion worked, it could never completely eliminate the spores inside the soldiers' bodies, and it also had certain side effects.

Mage Rhys had added quite a few magic materials during the brewing process, and these ordinary soldiers, who were not Professionals, could not absorb them easily.
