"Or what?" A faint smile curled Xuan Zhe's lips. He paid the Shinobi no further attention, merely giving him a languid glance before continuing, "I can't be bothered to kill you. I came to Hidden Mystery Village for one thing-to find Lady Xuan Yue. Stay out of my way."
Lady Xuan Yue?
At the name "Xuan Yue," the Shinobi's expression changed instantly. That name was a particularly sensitive one among their group. Shinobi like them, who had some standing in the village, knew that better than anyone.
"That's right. Where is Lady Xuan Yue?"
Xuan Zhe nodded, his tone utterly calm.
"Hmph! Trash like you thinks he deserves to see Lady Xuan Yue? Get out of Hidden Mystery Village if you know what's good for you! Otherwise, don't blame us for showing no mercy!"
The Shinobi gritted his teeth and snapped coldly.
Xuan Zhe laughed, a chill in his voice. "Who the hell do you think you are, acting up in front of me? You've got some nerve. Fine, I'll give you that chance."
Before his words had even faded, Xuan Zhe vanished from where he stood.
The next second, he appeared in front of the Shinobi. At some point, a ** had appeared in his hand, and he drove it viciously into the man's chest.
"Argh-!"
A scream rang out. A bloody hole opened in the Shinobi's chest, and bright red blood poured out, quickly soaking his clothes.

As his body convulsed, blood spurted from the wound. His eyes widened, his face full of disbelief. He was clearly a whole level above Xuan Zhe, so how had he ended up beaten like this? How had he lost so completely?

Xuan Zhe snorted coldly. With a flicker, he
