"Ghost Soul Prefecture lies in the westernmost reaches of the Netherworld, and its greatest claim to fame is the most unusual stretch of water in the endless Nether Sea-the Sea of Ruins." Selena set down the ring in her hand, picked up her teacup, and took a sip to moisten her throat.
"What is this Sea of Ruins? And what does it have to do with these Netherbone Flowers and Ghostweed?" Wangcai obligingly picked up the conversation.
He was simply too curious. For these two things to draw an exclamation from this haughty girl, who had seen plenty of spoils, they had to be extraordinary.
Selena froze, looking from Wangcai to Loa with an incredulous expression. "You don't know about the Sea of Ruins? Then what are you going to Ghost Soul Prefecture for?"
Wangcai and Loa exchanged a glance.
Loa set down his teacup and said frankly, "Because I once obtained a Soul Treasure and found it extremely effective after using it. Later, I heard that Ghost Soul Prefecture was the only place with a way to obtain them, so I made a special trip here." He was not afraid to tell Selena, either.
Soul Treasures were precious, but he had already used his. Could someone possibly dig its effects out of his head?
"A Soul Treasure..." A trace of longing appeared in Selena's eyes. "I've only heard about them myself. I've never seen one in person. They say even Prefecture Lord Level experts scramble for High-Grade Soul Treasures. You simply can't buy them on the market."
"Then let me explain how all these things are connected. Many people know Ghost Soul Prefecture offers a way to obtain Soul Treasures, but they don't know that obtaining them is extremely difficult and extremely dangerous." She paused and glanced at Wangcai.
