Wangcai’s parentage is uncertain. Loa associates his origins with the lair of Bai’erluosi, a Saint-level Thunder Dragon, but cannot confirm that she is his mother because Wangcai does not resemble a Thunder Dragon. When Wangcai asks about his parents, Loa promises to search for traces of her 122.

Initially unfamiliar with human society, Wangcai relies on Loa to explain people, money, pets, and home. He accepts Loa’s Fenlai residence as a safe place despite not understanding how its wooden door could keep danger out 120.

At the Ernst Institute, Wangcai befriends Bebe despite their inability to understand each other’s animal speech. They explore the nearby hills together, and Wangcai later learns enough rat language to surprise him at their next reunion 123 145.

Training and Travels

Loa systematically develops Wangcai’s fighting skills during their mountain travels. Wangcai initially struggles to penetrate sixth-rank beasts’ defenses despite his superior speed, then learns to combine electrical paralysis, close-range attacks, and precise timing. Over several months, he becomes calm and decisive in combat 139.

His lightning eventually attracts Olivier’s attention. After witnessing Wangcai kill a Seventh-Level Golden Money Leopard with lightning empowered by Judgment, Olivier follows him to Loa, setting up the encounter that leads to Olivier’s defeat 159 162.

When Loa saves and subdues the Dark Nightmare Pegasus Wuzhui, Wangcai welcomes the newcomer as his “little brother” 175. The two later assist in evacuating the injured Linley: Wuzhui carries him while Wangcai braces his body to prevent him from falling 203.

Building Loa’s Nation

Wangcai and Wuzhui accompany the advance party sent to establish New Wushan Town for the displaced settlers 207. Later, Wangcai serves as Wuzhui’s deputy during the conquest of the eastern Chaotic Territory. He dislikes being second-in-command but enjoys issuing orders from Wuzhui’s back 220.

During the construction of Xunzhen City, Loa sends Wangcai into the miniature plane to cultivate, pointing out that Wuzhui has already become a Saint while Wangcai remains at level nine 223.

Necropolis of the Gods

Wangcai trains alongside Bebe under Beirut’s demanding supervision before entering the Necropolis of the Gods 252. On the sixth floor, he destroys Red Rock Demons while Bebe battles the Flame Monarch; the surviving passage guards flee when the pair approach 256 257.

On the seventh layer, Wangcai destroys a hostile oasis with a Lightning Spear and fights the Mother Empress Lashabel alongside Bebe. Their coordinated assault culminates in Bebe exposing her Life Source Pearl and Wangcai preparing his concentrated Spear of Judgment: Ten Thousand Thunders as One 258 259 261.

Netherworld Adventures

After attaining Middle God, Wangcai travels with Loa to the Netherworld. In Kapa City, he signs up for the Mund family’s treasure-recovery mission, whose eight-billion-Nether-Stone reward conceals a scheme targeting Loa 295 301.

During the struggle over the treasure, Wangcai snatches Tos’s Space Ring and escapes a gravity field using electromagnetic repulsion 306. He subsequently fights alongside Loa against Yilikasi and protects Loa’s soul from a powerful attack through their contract 310 311.

Wangcai meets Selena when she intervenes in a bandit attack. Their lightning techniques complement each other, and they instinctively cover one another’s blind spots 316. During ten years aboard the flying boat, their friendship develops through card games, arguments, and shared battles 351 355.

Death Curse and Recovery

In the Sea of Ruins, Wangcai twice saves Kailuosa, Selena’s father 339 343 351. After Loa defeats Edmund, Edmund sacrifices his Soul Origin to unleash four Death Curses at Loa, Kailuosa, Wangcai, and Talos. Wangcai deliberately draws all four curses into himself with Auspicious Omen and collapses 344.

His talent prevents the curse from destroying his soul, but cannot initially remove it. Loa supplies a Middle-Grade Soul Treasure to stabilize him and returns to the Yulan Plane seeking Beirut’s help 345 348.

Beirut offers two solutions: purification with Life Sovereign power, or a Highgod breakthrough strong enough to empower Wangcai’s own racial talent. Wangcai chooses the latter, determined to become strong enough to protect Loa. Although unconscious externally, he remains aware within his soul space alongside his divine clone 349.

After more than two hundred years, Wangcai awakens with both a Lightning Highgod breakthrough and a new Death Law divine clone. Selena embraces him and directly asks him to marry her 355.

Marriage and Fatherhood

Wangcai and Selena marry in the Xunzhen Republic Empire, with friends and Deities attending. Beirut gives them matching Divine Spark Weapons as wedding gifts 358.

Their son, Lin Zhao, inherits their lightning talent. Wangcai urges him to gain practical experience, then proudly celebrates upon learning that the sixteen-year-old has already become a Level 9 Great Mage 378.

When Loa leaves to seek an opportunity to comprehend the Life Law, Wangcai immediately chooses to accompany him to the Life Godrealm. Selena instead takes Lin Zhao to visit the Yulan Continent 378.

He combines a love of play with genuine discipline. Loa’s instruction turns him into a composed fighter who knows when to attack or retreat, though card games and horseplay can still distract him from cultivation 139 324.

Wangcai is proud, competitive, and sharp-tongued. He resents serving beneath Wuzhui, trades insults with friends, and enjoys teasing Selena.
