Deep in the Sea of Ruins, Ghost Soul Prefecture, Netherworld.
Tie'emu'er stood over a devastated stretch of seabed ruins, toying with a radiant orb.
The orb was a deep, dark purple, its surface covered in countless intricate patterns of law. Each pattern flickered as though breathing on its own, and the soul fluctuations it radiated were so dense they almost became tangible.

Several corpses lay strewn at his feet. Some had been sliced to pieces by Wind Blades; others had been torn apart directly by violent Wind Element.
Among these corpses were several Prefecture Lord Level experts. They had come from various Divine Planes to fight over this High-Grade Soul Treasure, only to die at Tie'emu'er's hands.
The aftermath of their battle had utterly destroyed this stretch of seabed. Gemstone veins had been overturned, and dozens of bottomless ravines had been ripped into the ocean floor.
"I never thought I'd fail to find that fellow, only to gain something even more precious," Tie'emu'er murmured to himself.
He had originally come to the Netherworld to avenge his nephew Miller. He had failed to find that Soul Mutation Mutant, but deep in the Sea of Ruins, he had stumbled upon this High-Grade Soul Treasure just as it was about to emerge.
For an expert who had spent years at the Prefect level and aspired to become a Paragon, nothing could be more precious.
"A High-Grade Soul Treasure, a treasure that can increase the chance of becoming a Paragon by ten percent. Heaven truly favors me. Unfortunately, each person only gets that boost on their first use.
