Deep in the Amethyst Mountains on the Zijing Continent, Leijingsi watched Linley and his two companions disappear into the far end of the mine tunnel, then turned to the enormous Amethyst Behemoth beneath him. "Ahong, how long did it take you to cultivate to the strength of a Seven-Star Devil?"
The Amethyst Behemoth fell silent for a while, then let out a low growl from deep in his throat.
Leijingsi nodded with great solemnity, as though he had understood every syllable. "Damn, that's true. You can't judge a freak like that by normal standards." He patted the behemoth beneath him, his tone suddenly turning smug. "But the second God-Eater Rat in the world is my brother. Let's see who dares give me shit from now on!"
The Amethyst Behemoth growled again, as though agreeing, yet also as though sighing.
