Ancestry and life on the Yulan Continent

Kailin carries the surviving Supreme Elves Bloodline of the First-Generation Elves Asura. Her existence was made possible by Beirut holding back out of concern for the Yulan Continent during the ancient conflict involving her ancestor. From birth, her bloodline gave her exceptional talent, a stable Divine Soul, and a natural resonance with the Life Laws, although its full origin remained dormant for ten thousand years 300 301.

She became the Yulan Empire’s revered High Priestess and supreme guardian. By the time she encountered Shiheng, she was an established God-level expert who had spent ages cultivating in seclusion 94 297.

Meeting and mentoring Shiheng

Kailin interrupted her seclusion after sensing Shiheng’s simultaneous control of the four supreme laws. She tested him with her God Domain and fought him through a nine-exchange agreement. Although the battle appeared fierce, she deliberately withheld divine power, avoided fatal openings, and guided his attacks; his apparent ability to contend with her did not reflect their true difference in strength 94 95 97.

During the clash, she sealed the destructive aftermath above the capital with a transparent barrier, preventing any harm to its inhabitants 96.

Afterward, Kailin offered Shiheng a meditation chamber in her Palace of God and shared her cultivation insights without reservation. She also hoped that his future strength would help her explore the Necropolis of the Gods Secret Realm. Their ten years of discussion benefited both cultivators and loosened her own bottleneck. When he left, she accepted that the palace could no longer contain his ambitions and gave him a Divine Palace Token 97 98.

Tomb of the Gods

On the twelfth floor, Kailin and Emperor Star challenged a Life Law Midgod together. Emperor Star led the offense while she healed, defended, and disrupted their opponent. She eventually exploited an opening by committing her remaining divine power, Life Laws, and soul power to an emerald blade aimed at the Midgod’s Divine Soul core 138 139.

The thirteenth floor’s death origin proved especially dangerous to her Life-based power. Shiheng’s protective barrier allowed her to continue safely, and he assigned her to guard the center of the expedition’s formation 140 141.

Believing Shiheng had died covering their retreat, Kailin pledged to protect the Klan Empire and demanded that their companions renounce any designs against it. She particularly challenged Emperor Star, whose earlier ambitions made her distrustful. Shiheng returned unseen and heard their promises 152.

She continued supporting the group on the fourteenth floor, protecting bodies and souls against hostile Water Element laws. When Shiheng advanced to the fifteenth floor, she remained behind with the others to recover and cultivate. By the expedition’s end, she had reached Midgod and collected Lowgod Divine Cores capable of helping her followers attain godhood 157 160 170.

Return to the Elves Race

After the Yulan Empire’s destruction, Kailin no longer wished to restore a kingdom or compete for worldly authority. Unlike her companions who chose Hell, she traveled alone to the Life God Realm. She later learned that this decision had been influenced by her ancestor’s lingering desire to return home, embedded within her bloodline 195 299 301.

An ancient elven elder recognized her ancestry, brought her to the race’s sacred ground, and awakened her Supreme Bloodline. The elves invested their resources and hopes in her development. Her return also transferred the burden of bloodline succession away from Kaiser, who spent centuries sheltering her cultivation 300 301 303.

After Kailin obtained the ancient realm’s life fruit, a Demon Race Asura’s favored concubine attempted to kill her and extract its unrefined essence. Kailin, Kaiser, and their elven companions fought back and killed the attackers. The Asura then pursued them, and an elder sacrificed himself to preserve their chance of escape 297 298.

Trapped again near Azure Nether City, Kailin refused Kaiser’s plan to sacrifice himself for her escape. She fully unleashed her First-Generation Asura bloodline and stood beside him. Shiheng intervened to save them, leaving the siblings to watch his battle with the Asura patriarch from a distant refuge among the clouds 306 308 312 313.

Life Secret Realm expedition

Kailin volunteered to guide Shiheng and Oakes through the Life Secret Realm, using her knowledge of its routes, spatial mazes, and restrictions. Kaiser accompanied her, and the four entered while Ryder and his sister guarded their retreat 320 324.

The expedition became a prolonged battle against the Life Divine Tree’s forces. Kailin’s body was destroyed repeatedly, forcing her to consume Sovereign’s Might to reconstruct it and stabilize her soul. Eventually, a Seven-Star Fiend shattered her body again, and her final reserve barely prevented her soul’s annihilation 328 329.

After Shiheng defeated the army, he gave her two more drops of Sovereign’s Might. She recovered her physical form, although soul injuries persisted, and helped guard her companions during their subsequent cultivation. Eight years later, her reserves and state of mind had substantially improved 333 334 335 338.

Sacrifice and legacy

After the expedition’s survivors withdrew, Lingmeng Overgod singled Kailin out with an offer to make her his personal maidservant. Shiheng recognized the demand as a means of exploiting their connection: submission would place them under the Overgod’s control, while refusal would provide a pretext for punishment 340 346.

Kailin endured the ensuing divine pressure behind Shiheng’s protection, but her body and soul steadily failed. She ultimately invoked Burn Life, Inherit the Bloodline!, using borrowed Life Paragon willpower to purify her inheritance and send a bloodline cocoon to Kaiser 347 348 350.

She then sacrificed her remaining soul essence into the Life Divine Blade. Combined with the Life Divine Tree Clone’s sacrifice, this helped the clone attain the Perfect Life Law Paragon realm and transform the blade. The tree preserved a remnant of Kailin’s soul within it 350.

The cocoon is an inheritance, not a straightforward resurrection: its eventual successor would possess a new soul and blank memories, without Kailin’s former attachments. Kaiser later entrusted it to Shiheng, who promised to protect her bloodline and the Elves Race. Her loss continued to haunt him afterward 350 354 355 356 359.

Her loyalty is expressed through action. She protects the capital from battle damage, promises to safeguard Shiheng’s empire when she believes him dead, and refuses to abandon Kaiser even when escape would preserve her people’s most valuable bloodline 96 152 306.

Kailin develops a quiet love for Shiheng but knows that his heart belongs to his family. She neither demands a relationship nor openly reveals her feelings. During their years in the Life Secret Realm, she is content to remain near him; her final sacrifice follows that same selfless attachment 329 335 336 350.
