Chapter Summaries

After returning to Ernst Academy, Linley reunited with his friends and spent a night talking with Alice, but their connection was interrupted when he found her with Kalan. The chapter ended with Alice asking Linley to speak with her at a nearby hotel after he saw them together.

• Linley brought the distraught Hadley back to Ernst Academy, where Yale, George, Reynolds, Ross, and Andrew welcomed them and heard Hadley describe being pursued by a Super Beast Tide for nearly two months.
• Linley met Delia, then later walked through Fenlai City and spent the night talking with Alice after she called to him from her balcony.
• Rhodes watched Linley and Alice together, then used time acceleration across the Yulan Continent, causing Hadley's and Andrew's systems to enter dormancy.
