Katara's first reaction was to object. Those three had left far too deep an impression on her. Even though Kahn had already demonstrated extraordinary Firebending, she still didn't believe he could fight all three alone.
Aang also objected:
"If we're fighting, we're all going together!"
"Exactly! Four of us against three of them? I can't even imagine how we'd lose!"
Toph smacked her fists together with an excited grin, but Sokka turned to remind her:
"Actually, there are five of us."
"Oh, sorry. I didn't count you."
Toph spread her hands.
"You know, you can't bend, so..."
"I can still fight!"
"Fine, then it's four against three, plus Sokka."
Sokka was absolutely infuriated by Toph.
Ignoring the two jokers, Kahn gestured for them not to worry, then said to Aang:
"Do you remember what you're afraid of about Firebending?"
Aang paused, then answered:
"I'm afraid of hurting the people around me with Firebending again."
"Exactly. But I think after tonight, you should be able to start learning Firebending."
Kahn snapped his fingers and smiled.
"Watch closely. I don't like singing my own praises, but I still hope you'll come to understand one thing clearly-"
"When it comes to Firebending, I am invincible."
Following the fur shed by the Sky Bison, Azula successfully tracked down the Avatar. Compared to their earlier encounter in Omashu, however, Team Avatar seemed to have gained two unfamiliar faces.
