"I'll give it some more thought."

Although Tenzin felt that Kahn's words made a great deal of sense, he still found it difficult to decide on his suggestion. After all, it ran completely counter to the approach they had always followed.

Their discussion about Korra ended there, but Tenzin had something else he wanted to discuss with Kahn.

"Jinora, stop meditating for now and come here."

"All right."

Jinora obediently came to Tenzin's side. On hearing this, Ikki and Meelo opened their eyes as well and clamored:

"What about us?!"

"Why doesn't she have to meditate when we still do?!"

"Not fair! Not fair!"

Their racket gave Tenzin a headache, and he said helplessly:

"All right, all right. That's enough meditation practice for today. Go play."

"Yay!"

"Let's go!"

The two cheered at his words, used Airbending, and vanished in a flash, as though afraid Tenzin would change his mind.

It seemed Korra was not the only one who had little enthusiasm for this training.

Both annoyed and helpless at the sight, Tenzin could only sigh again and leave them be for now.

He brought Jinora before Kahn and said:

"Master Kahn, here's the thing. After you left yesterday, Jinora suddenly told me that she could also see the Deities around you, so..."

"She has Spiritbending talent too?"

Kahn's eyes immediately lit up at this.

"Yes."

Since this concerned his own daughter, Tenzin made his request somewhat stiffly:

"So I wanted to ask whether you could take Jinora as your disciple and teach her Spiritbending."

This was different from Korra's case. Korra was the Avatar, Aang's reincarnation. Even setting aside Kahn's friendship with Aang, teaching the Avatar was, to some extent, every Bending Grandmaster's responsibility, so he could openly make that request of Kahn.

Jinora, however, was simply his daughter.
