After explaining all of this, Lin Beifong paused, then continued:
"Lastly, although there is no evidence, I must still emphasize one thing.
"According to Princess Kahn, who accompanied us, the reason he ultimately let those Equalists escape was that Amon took control of his body at that instant, causing his bending to fail."
