The young Morgan People man still looked very nervous when he saw Jiang Yang come over to him.
He called out apprehensively, "Lord Lucifer."
Jiang Yang, however, smiled rather happily.
"Hmm, what's your name?"
Of course he knew the young Morgan People man's name, but there was no harm in asking again. He was a kindly leader, after all.
Start by asking a name to build rapport-he had watched plenty of variety shows from the previous civilization.
Besides, this fellow could survive all the way from the Fourth Epoch to his own era. Such an important advantage could not be overlooked.
So there was nothing wrong with treating him a little more warmly.
"Lord Lucifer, my name is Karl."
Karl looked very nervous, but Jiang Yang's gentle tone and manner put him at ease.
Next, Jiang Yang asked Karl how well he understood some of the Morgan Civilization's scientific and technological achievements.
As though being assessed by a teacher or a superior, Karl answered every question truthfully.
The results satisfied Jiang Yang greatly. When it came to the Morgan Civilization's advanced equipment, Karl said he had a grasp of all of it.
He also knew about many scientific achievements already considered basic in the Morgan Civilization, such as those involving antigravity.
This left Jiang Yang very satisfied, so he encouraged him to study and master more of the Morgan Civilization's useful scientific achievements, and to read more whenever he had time.
Then bring them back to the Fifth Epoch in the future-of course, he said that part only in his own mind.
Before leaving, he even patted Karl on the shoulder and said loudly, "I've got high hopes for you. Keep it up, young Karl. Come work under me in the future."
It was a show of regard.
