Only a few hours had passed since the five Yinglong emerged, began their rebellion to enslave the world, and were beaten like dead dogs by Li Xiaowa, left curled up on the ground.
The sun still hung high in the sky, wantonly pouring light and heat over the vast world.
Waves rose across the ocean from time to time, rolling in to batter the shoreline.
It was a rare scene of peace and tranquility.
Jiang Yang approached Li Xiaowa. Watching the five dragons prostrate themselves on the ground, still refusing to bow in submission, he asked with a soft laugh.
"Xiaowa, need a hand?"
Li Xiaowa rolled her eyes at him, speechless, and replied.
"These little dragons are terribly proud. They seem to have something to rely on, or something that gave them the foundation for their inborn arrogance."
Those words drew no reaction from Jiang Yang, but they sounded entirely different to the Yinglong.
They felt that the woman before them was their creator and truly understood them. They were proud, and they had every reason to be conceited.
They had already begun to waver, coyly showing signs of wanting to submit, but now they could not help wanting to make a few more demands.
They had also realized that Li Xiaowa would not kill them. She could only subdue them.
They were of great use to her!
Li Xiaowa took in the dragons' reactions, and her anger flared even more.
"Did you think I was praising you?"
Jiang Yang chuckled at the sight, stopping Li Xiaowa from striking again as he stepped forward to face the five dragons himself.
He spoke directly to them.
"Submit!"
Jiang Yang's tone was calm, his manner somewhat casual.
The five Yinglong were dumbfounded too. Was he really putting in so little effort?
