In the endlessly distant future space-time.
Earth.
The Heroic Spirit Throne hovered on the horizon in the night sky like an inverted longsword.
Within the Heroic Spirit Throne lay a vast, boundless space.
Seats suspended in the sky like thrones, some majestic, some dark, some radiant, some bloody, some ashen and still, and some lively and spirited.
There were millions upon millions of such seats, all of which should have shone brightly.
Yet in reality, most of the seats had already grown dim.
The rushing sound of surging water rang out from time to time within this boundless space.
An illusory Long River passed through this vast space, and Heroic Spirits of all different forms rode the waves of space-time, entering and leaving it.
Bustling to and fro.
Just then, several figures appeared upon the Long River.
Immediately afterward, a pure white Throne abruptly appeared in the vast space.
Then, among those figures, the one who seemed somewhat bewildered sat down on the Throne.
He looked at the hooded humans before him and asked hesitantly.
"Wasn't I... dead?"
"You did die, but your Heroic Spirit is immortal. You will gain eternal life in the Heroic Spirit Throne and continue fighting for Human Civilization!"
The hooded woman at their head spoke.
"What is all this supposed to mean?"
The newly arrived Heroic Spirit was utterly bewildered.
"Newly arrived Heroic Spirit, please allow us to explain the current situation. Please look over there first!"
One of the black-robed figures pointed at the River of Time within the vast space.
The newly arrived Heroic Spirit saw countless Heroic Spirits moving back and forth upon it.
Though they sometimes traveled upstream along the River of Time and sometimes downstream, they all ultimately shared one destination.
It was the end of the River of Time!
