History

First Era Origins

The First Era was the common source of the later human civilizations. Its oldest ancestors were giants roughly thirty meters tall who allied with the much smaller Star Spirit Clan. During a catastrophic struggle, the ancestors sheltered the star spirits beneath their bodies. The star spirits’ final radiance subsequently entered their dead protectors, producing ten thousand humans with elemental powers—the ancestors of First Era humanity, also called the Star Clan 681 785 786.

Humanity developed through tribes, city-states, and hereditary elemental regimes. The scientist Jun systematized existing knowledge and used gunpowder technology to overthrow the feudal order. A scientist-led society followed, eventually developing spacecraft, hibernation, biotechnology, and interstellar travel. Over five million years, it conquered the Milky Way and established the Galactic Human Federation’s Star Era 786.

The Six Civilization Eras Plan

Shi discovered that the Myriad Worlds of the Heavens was a newborn supernatural universe connected to the known universe through the Solar System. Humanity’s ancestry gave it an affinity for this universe’s singularity. Anticipating the Clock Tower’s threat, he planned to divide its supreme concept among six human civilization eras rather than force one civilization to bear the entire concept 789.

The Clock Tower offered humanity subordinate status, evacuation from the Milky Way, and a possible future place among its Level Nine members. Shi refused. Its subsequent invasion devastated the Level Eight Galactic Human Federation, slaughtering the populations of millions of inhabited planets 790.

Unable to create additional Supremes within his own era, Shi accelerated civilization’s development inside the Solar System. Earth was evacuated, reduced in size, and left with humanity’s genetic seeds. He also decreed that only leaders acknowledged by their civilization could become Supreme. The remaining Federation forces bought him five seconds outside the accelerated region—enough for the five later civilization eras to arise within it 790.

Earlier Epochs and the Divine Clan

Tai Shang established the Third Epoch Human Race by teaching his Evolution Method to an endangered ape tribe. Over successive ten-thousand-year periods, its members transformed into humans whose descendants retained their new form. Tai Shang protected the growing population and became its recognized ancestor 556 557 568.

The Fourth Epoch’s Morgan Civilization rose through its command of light. It eventually combined supernatural practice with science under a dual-leader system, before suffering its own doomsday. The Angel Clan later inherited its legacy 98 764.

The Fifth Epoch developed without supernatural power before its catastrophe. An alien spacecraft appeared near the Solar System, and world-destroying monsters emerged from the oceans. Its surviving humans preserved their civilization’s remnants, became the Divine Clan, and helped prepare Earth for the next epoch 132 133.

Shaping Sixth Epoch Humanity

The Divine Clan repeatedly intervened in the development of later human populations. Early Golden Humans arose through genetic mutation, while Chen Ping’an’s selection plan sought descendants resembling the old humans more closely. The plan explicitly aimed to replace the Golden Humans over successive generations 7 15 34.

After the Bronze Age, Li Xiaowa produced three major New Human populations carrying the bloodlines of the surviving Divine Clan. Their first progenitors were Zhu Xia, Taihua, Adam, Eve, Anma, and Yima. To prevent the new age from remaining a continuation of Bronze civilization, Jiang Yang and the gods unleashed a worldwide flood that destroyed its surviving infrastructure. The New Humans were protected; most Bronze survivors who refused relocation died, and the remainder were assimilated 300 302 311.

The new tribes initially developed without inherited cultivation methods or systematic instruction. Zhu Xia and Taihua held their eastern tribe together for nearly three hundred years, while later generations developed stone tools, spears, and larger settlements. Suiren’s discovery of fire improved food preparation and living conditions. When humanity remained dangerously scattered, the gods approved the first God-Blood Genesis to guide its development 313 327 346.

World-Fall Calamities and Planetary Recovery

The Sixth Epoch established the Earth Federation, but repeated World-Fall Calamities expanded Earth and isolated its settlements. National governments disappeared, and individual human city-states sometimes lost contact for thousands of years. The third calamity reduced a population that had once reached tens of billions to only a few billion 745 760.

Demigod communities began integrating into humanity in Federation Year 1100, marrying humans and establishing families. Powerful Professionals subsequently became regional pillars, including the Human King in the east and Knight King Kelin in the west 746 747.

Humanity gradually restored routes between its cities and reclaimed territory. Research into Divine Clan ruins confirmed that the gods were Fifth Epoch survivors and that the preceding civilizations were natural allies. Authorities nevertheless withheld records describing humanity’s creation by the gods 758.

The Human King defeated a sixth-step Fallen World enemy while still a fifth-tier Professional. He later fought the remaining sixth-step threats with assistance from Jiang Wang and the five Sea Tribe kings. Although Kyoto suffered devastating losses, the victory enabled a worldwide campaign that reclaimed Earth by Federation Year 75,000 758.

The Human Emperor’s Reign

After worldwide legal recognition established the Human Emperor, he ordered Jiang Wang to investigate betrayal, corruption, and brutality among the city-states. By Federation Year 82,000, investigations covered 300 cities and implicated seven million people, including 260 city lords. Executions and exile continued until the first rectification formally ended in Year 83,000 759 760.

His development program paired Professional education with technological research, space-city construction, and preparation for future calamities. He also ordered plans for a world-saving organization whose members would require exceptional strength, integrity, and loyalty to humanity 760.

Humanity initially attempted settlement in the Human Realm, but research found that children raised there generally had far less potential than Earth-born children. Migration from Earth was halted, and the Human Emperor eventually abandoned development of the realm, insisting that Sixth Epoch humanity contribute to confronting the coming cosmic enemy 758 761.

War Against the Clock Tower

The first major alien assault annihilated humanity’s eastern Kuiper Belt defenses before the stationed forces could issue a warning. Pluto’s artificial intelligence, Ming, alerted the Earth Federation. The attackers possessed dimensional weapons, Supreme-level warships, and technology that prevented the Human Emperor from reversing the initial slaughter through time 765.

The civilizations of the earlier epochs joined the fighting. As the war escalated, Wa Huang also persuaded beings from the shattered worlds of the heavens to defend the Solar System, promising them future homes on life-bearing planets. Nevertheless, encirclement and overwhelming enemy numbers brought humanity close to extinction 767 768 776 778.

The Human Emperor died in battle. The remaining Supremes then committed their power and civilization traits to Jiang Yang, who manifested the histories and heroes of the Six Great Epochs before attacking the Clock Tower 781 793 797 798.

After destroying it, Jiang Yang condemned civilizations that had invaded the Solar System or served the Enforcer Civilization. Other spared civilizations were ordered to serve humanity for one hundred million years, and he prohibited them from harming humans 806 807.

Galactic Alliance and Fragmentation

Following victory, the Human Civilization Alliance adopted the Dawn Calendar. By Year 157,000, it occupied most of the Milky Way, had surpassed First Era technology, and governed from Primordial Chaos 813.

Jiang Yang retired from politics in Dawn Calendar Year 6,000,000; the other five Supremes followed the next year. They reserved intervention for existential emergencies and transferred ordinary government to a prime minister elected by all humanity every ten thousand years 822.

Without their direct intervention, humanity fought the Psionic Civilization for one hundred thousand years before signing a peace treaty. A later war with the Hongling Civilization lasted thirty thousand years and stopped when the conflict reached the territory of the Beast Race Civilization 822.

In Dawn Calendar Year 22,351,930, Prime Minister Jiang Taiyao staged a coup and proclaimed himself emperor. In Year 22,352,300, Prime Minister Wu Chang relinquished office and dissolved the Alliance government. Human Civilization fragmented into competing states, including the First Human Empire in Andromeda and a new Human Federation based in the Milky Way 826.

Civilization Traits

Civilization traits originate from the supreme concept of the Myriad Worlds of the Heavens reflected upon each human era. Shi deliberately distributed that concept across six civilizations 789.

Epoch Civilization Supreme Representative Civilization Trait
First Star Clan Shi, the First Supreme Prologue of Time 785 786 789 793.
Second Ghost Clan Yin Jiuer, the Ghost Clan Queen Image of Reality and Void 764 793.
Third Immortal Clan Dao Ancestor Tai Shang Wisdom Nearing the Dao 556 767 793.
Fourth Angel Clan, inheriting Morgan Civilization Heavenly Lord Immortality 689 764 793.
Fifth Divine Clan Jiang Yang Hymn of Glory 552 793.
Sixth Human Race Human Emperor Miracle 747 759 793.
  • Prologue of Time was not originally a combat skill; Shi used it to accelerate time throughout the sealed Solar System 790.
  • Hymn of Glory allowed Divine Clan combatants to multiply their forms during the interstellar war 767.
  • Miracle enabled the Human Emperor to grow stronger during battle, even while gravely wounded 776.
  • The Supreme-level forms of these traits were substantially stronger than ordinary civilization traits and could be combined under Jiang Yang’s battle will 797.

Government and Administration

Alliance Structure

  • Administrative divisions: Star regions became provinces, star systems became prefectures and counties, and life-bearing planets formed the smallest interstellar administrative units 813.
  • Capital region: The former Solar System’s location and neighboring star systems formed the capital star region, with Primordial Chaos as its capital and sacred land 813.
  • Communications: The Star Alliance Network covered human territory, with its central server in southern Primordial Chaos 813.
  • Elected leadership: After the Supremes withdrew, all humanity elected the Alliance prime minister for ten-thousand-year terms 822.

Primordial Chaos

Region Principal Institutions and Uses
Sky — Thirty-Three Heavens Divine Clan domain, ruled by Jiang Yang as Divine Emperor and revered Heavenly Emperor 813.

Technology and Military

Professional Cultivation

  • Scientists extracted special substances from Fallen World creatures and processed them into strengthening potions without side effects 741.
  • Potions combined with particular abilities and training produced specialized professions, including Jiang Wang’s Sun Lord, Lan Qin’s Abyss Summoner, and the unique Human King 741 746.
  • Professional development extended beyond conventional combat: Zhou Wenshi’s advancement from great scholar to Green-History Scribe made him Jincheng’s strongest fighter 758.

Space Defense and Infrastructure

  • Planetary fortresses: The Divine Clan planned to combine the Seven Great Refuges into a super-spacecraft stationed near the Solar System’s outer edge, using material from dead worlds rather than Earth 299.
  • Sixth Epoch fleet strategy: In Federation Year 75,200, humanity chose mobile warship defenses instead of following earlier epochs’ planetary-fortress model. Ming permitted a supply base on Pluto 759.
  • Kuiper Belt defenses: Scientific stations and interstellar defensive lines guarded the Solar System, though the first line proved unable to withstand the Level Nine invasion 759 765.
  • Interstellar infrastructure: Terraforming, extensive wormhole networks, and starships connected the Alliance’s inhabited worlds 813.
  • Starsea Dawn: Humanity’s independently developed Law Weapon marked its mature Level Nine technological capability 822.

Survival Organizations

  • Heroic Spirit Throne — One of three major world-saving organizations; commanded by Ye Qushang, a Sixth Epoch Heroic Spirit Summoner 764.
  • Sacred Stele Throne — Conducted long-term plans involving Jiang Yang and deployed forces in humanity’s interstellar defenses 116 765.
  • Golden Ship of Deliverance — Tathagata accepted responsibility for carrying humanity’s seeds away from Earth if civilization lost its final struggle 517.

External Relations

  • Demigods — Established communities alongside human cities and ultimately integrated through marriage and family life 746.
  • Sea Tribe — Allied kings assisted Jiang Wang and the Human King; their cooperation also secured humanity’s sea routes 758.
  • Beings of the Myriad Worlds — Joined the Solar System’s defense after Wa Huang promised assistance in finding new planetary homes 776.
  • Clock Tower and Enforcer Civilization — Existential enemies whose demand for human subordination led to the destruction of the First Era Federation and the later Solar System war 790 807.
  • Insect Civilization — Initially confronted Jiang Youyou’s party; formally established diplomatic relations with humanity in Dawn Calendar Year 5,000,000 817 822.
  • Psionic Civilization — Resource disputes caused a hundred-thousand-year war, concluded by a peace treaty 822.
  • Hongling Civilization — An aggressive neighboring Level Nine civilization that forced humanity into a thirty-thousand-year war 822.
  • Beast Race Civilization — A Level Nine neighbor whose territory bordered the expanding Hongling–human conflict 822.
  • Five Races of Humanity — Reincorporated into Human Civilization by the Alliance’s Tenth and Thirteenth Fleets, which established Bodhi Province in their star region 824.
