Jiang Yang unfurled his black-and-white wings, spreading them between heaven and earth.
Behind him, the bronze dragon flying over was already dumbstruck.
On the giant tree.
All the witches present covered their mouths in surprise, their shock plain on their faces.
Some looked envious, others hateful.
"An angel!"
"An angel has actually descended to the Mortal Realm. He concealed his identity and disguised himself as a knight. What business has brought him to the Witch Forest?"
"Hmph, so what if he's an angel? Lady Angelica is no pushover either. Even the Pope of the Holy See could only lower that supposedly noble head of his before Lady Angelica."
The central forest of the Witch Forest rose like a slope.
Jiang Yang beat his wings, swiftly sweeping through the lower skies and passing through that silver-blue river in the heavens.
This beautiful river, like the Milky Way, did indeed catch his eye.
But he did not linger, continuing upward instead until he reached the top of the giant tree and saw a fenced courtyard on a branch so vast it could be called a plaza.
Inside the courtyard were two beautiful girls.
One had a head of green hair and a graceful, curvaceous figure, with a certain voluptuous charm.
She happened to be leaning against the fence, looking up at the approaching Jiang Yang, her eyes full of scrutiny.
The other was a little girl with flowing silver hair, her face sweet and lovely, but her eyes wise and intelligent.
Of these two, the green-haired girl must be Angelica.
Jiang Yang thought to himself.
So he flew up to the fence, meeting the girls at eye level, and said with a smile.
"Miss Angelica, I am a knight commissioned by King Baldwin of Jerusalem to bring back his
