A relatively intact low-rise building had been transformed by earth espers into a raised platform, called the Execution Platform.
This was where Wang Dazhu, the ruler of the Guangze City Refugee Camp, executed those who refused to obey him.
The sun shone brilliantly now, and the light was good.
Jiang Wang and Lan Qin stood on the Execution Platform and beheaded the powerful esper who ruled the Guangze City Refugee Camp and his accomplices, each with a single stroke. Heads rolled and blood flowed in rivers, making for a horrifying sight.
Below the Execution Platform, hundreds of thousands of people throughout the camp cheered in unison.
Having barely escaped with their lives, they had then been ruled by their own kind. That dark era was finally over.
Wang Dazhu had originally been a pig farm worker, a man in his forties with neither wife nor children.
Had Doomsday and the Fallen World calamity never come, he might well have spent his whole life that way.
But fortunately for him, after the apocalyptic calamity struck, he awakened what was then the most powerful ability in Guangze City: Enhancement and Control of Livestock. He could also merge the strength of his livestock into himself.
And so, with the farm's tens of thousands of pigs, he became the most powerful esper in Guangze City.
His growing strength bred ambition, and his great power changed his understanding of the world. On the surface, he obeyed the official leadership of the Guangze Refugee Camp, but in secret, he committed unlawful acts.

The Guangze City garrison was almost entirely wiped out in a battle against Fallen World creatures.
Wang Dazhu seized the opportunity to launch a revolt. He killed everyone in the camp who resisted, absorbed those espers who had harbored ill
