With the refugee camp functioning steadily, Jiang Wang accompanied Lan Qin on a journey to find promising allies. He rescued endangered humans along the way and witnessed the devastation inflicted by Fallen World Creatures. During the second World-Fall Calamity, Jiang Wang ordered Gu Youxuan to evacuate the others through underground passages while he remained behind against the beast tide. As the emperor-rank Heaven-Conquering Eagle closed in, Bai Weiwei intervened and saved him. Ania’s return finally revealed his heritage: both parents were gods, and he belonged to the Fifth Epoch’s Divine Clan. He also learned that Jiang Yang had been watching over him through the Sun. Ania warned him not to let that protection diminish his courage or respect for life and death 744.

Afterward, Jiang Wang began reclaiming territory around Cloudsea City. Pei Lanji gave birth to their daughter, Jiang Lingyan, whom he presented to the city’s people as Jiang Yang blessed his descendants with the Sunmark bloodline 745.

Later Leadership

When five great worlds descended toward Earth, one of their lords attempted to seize Jiang Wang with a Heaven-Seizing Hand. Jiang Wang called for his father, and Jiang Yang manifested in the ancient Sun as the Imperial Bell rang across the Solar System and myriad worlds 749.

Father and son subsequently reunited atop Cloudsea City’s Solar Tower after six thousand years apart. Jiang Yang refused to remove him to the Divine Realm or spare Sixth Epoch civilization its trials, instead urging him to cultivate, cooperate with Bai Weiwei, and fight for all humanity 756.

Jiang Wang later pardoned three thousand Sea Tribe members, permitting them to establish a dependent city. He also fought alongside the Human King and five Sea Tribe kings against the remaining sixth-step Fallen World enemies. Humanity reclaimed the globe by Federation Year 75,000 758.

The Human Emperor appointed him to investigate city-states for betrayal, corruption, and brutality.
