As Mayi World neared annihilation, Nuonasi prayed to the fallen Sun God while preparing to burn herself before corruption consumed her. A radiant figure emerged from the candle flame and declared that he would become their new sun.

• Evil creatures besieged the City of Beginnings as the wounded Goddess of Light struggled to maintain its protective barrier.
• Nuonasi read the ancient chronicles and hoped Creator God Mayi might return to save Mayi World.
• As corruption transformed Nuonasi, eight comrades gathered to watch over her and prepare to destroy her if she became an evil creature.

Jiang Yang arrived in Mayi World and met Youla, its corrupted Goddess of Light, in the Grand Library. Knowing she was near death, Youla offered him all her authority and asked him to become the light of her world and love its Mortal Realm.

• Jiang Yang descended into the Grand Library, where his golden light suppressed the uncanny corruption on Priestess Nuonasi.
• Youla’s light briefly cleared as she sensed Jiang Yang, while evil gods in Mayi World turned toward the City of Beginnings.
• Youla projected a radiant incarnation in the library and asked Jiang Yang where he came from.

• Jiang Yang confronted the Eye of Judgment, the Delusional Evil Gods, and the Lord of Lust and Wounds as Nuonasi remembered how they had killed the previous Sun God.

After defeating the Evil Gods, Jiang Yang claimed Youla’s duties and vowed to protect the Mortal Realm and destroy the remaining Evil Gods. He left the survivors with plans to summon his Personal Guards and begin a new era called the Radiant Calendar.

• Jiang Yang transformed the Sky Divine Throne into a small sun above the City of Beginnings and healed the people with golden radiance.
• Jiang Yang declared that he would take up the duties of the dead Goddess of Light, protect the Mortal Realm, and fight the Evil Gods; the people cheered.

After discussing Earth’s growing rejection of its ancient Gods and the Solar System’s mysterious planets with Li Xiaowa and Qing Fengxi, he assembled his warriors and prepared to depart.

• Jiang Yang emerged on Mount Tai, greeted the Divine Court Warriors on guard, and summoned Yusheng to help prepare the Divine Court’s expedition to Mayi.

• Jiang Yang traveled east, killing several Evil Gods and realizing they were all heading toward the City of Beginnings.

• The Plague Bird struck the Solar Barrier, weakening the golden dome over the City of Beginnings.

Jiang Yang returned to the City of Beginnings, killed the Evil God attacking it, and ordered his forces to expand the lands of light while he stayed near the city. After the light’s territory grew, the Evil God Overlord noticed the losses and sent a powerful figure to deal with Jiang Yang.

• Jiang Yang arrived outside the City of Beginnings and killed the rotting giant bird attacking his golden-armored legion.
• Yusheng reported that the battle had left thirty-five warriors wounded and twelve dead, and Jiang Yang instructed the survivors to gather the fallen and train harder.
• Jiang Yang canceled the previous plan, vowed to remain near the City of Beginnings, and ordered his followers to spread his flames across the world.
• Jiang Yang expanded the territory of light around the city and killed Evil Gods as they appeared, enlarging the illuminated lands dozens of times over.

• Angsaisis assaulted a village girl, who later died giving birth to their son, Pendragon, whose descendants became known for bathing in Red Dragon blood.
• Jiang Yang used the Sky Divine Throne’s sunlight to travel across the land of light and continued strengthening his abilities by slaying Evil Gods.

• Kaerisha descended above the land of light with a dark spear and a terrifying phantom behind him.

Jiang Yang faced the Fallen God King Kaerisha as Kaerisha attacked the Bright Land, and the two clashed in the sky. After seven days and nights of battle, Jiang Yang used his nine radiant shadows to cleave Kaerisha in two.
