• Chu Kuangren defeated the Four Great Demon Generals and secured the submission of the Asura Kings, then investigated a breach in Minghe Patriarch’s restriction around the Sea of Blood.

Chu Kuangren infiltrated the Soul Forbidden Zone, took its Nine-Petal Soul-Congealing Flower, and escaped after battling its leaders and unleashing the ghosts in Blue Sea’s hell. As Tianyuan invaded through a Two-Realm Passage, Chu Kuangren went to investigate and found Ye Zhu fighting Chen Feihu.

• Ye Luosha attacked Luo Tianyun to seize Yue'er, but Chu Kuangren arrived, subdued the ghosts, and claimed the title of Ghost Emperor.
• Chu Kuangren learned Ziyue Changkong planned to possess Luo Shiyue’s Nine-Colored Divine Soul Body, then killed him and took his place in the Soul Forbidden Zone.

• Chu Kuangren recognized the Shinto Towers’ trap, used the Kunlun Mirror to guide the survivors out, and remained behind to hold back the Other Universe’s cultivators as the Void Annihilation Grand Array collapsed.

He won the God King’s wager and treasures, then faced a coordinated attack from Leng Wufeng, Chi Longying, and Mo Wuji.

• Chu Kuangren chose Ling Fei as his follower, traveled to Frost Sword Star, and killed Leng Jiufeng and a Heavenly Cold Clan elder when they threatened Han Xingyu and the Ice Clan.
• Chu Kuangren accepted Black Hole Particles from Feng Qingxue, defeated the bandits sent to kill him, and spared their leaders after Helou Liangyi offered treasures on their behalf.
