Chu Kuangren and Lan Yu left the Featherfolk and traveled to Sword-Worshipping City, where Chu Kuangren claimed the Sword Soul and defeated the sword cultivators who sought it. They then went to Whitebrow Mountain, where Chu Kuangren and Lan Yu faced the trials leading to the Saint’s sermon.

• Chu Kuangren sealed the Demon Well with Lan Yu and helped the Featherfolk destroy the Fallen Feather Clan, then killed Jue Tianlan and an elder when they attacked Lan Yu over the Staff of Light.
• Chu Kuangren and Lan Yu left the Featherfolk, rescued Yun Feiyang from Black-Feathered Demon Birds, and traveled with him to Sword-Worshipping City, where they won valuable stones through rough-stone gambling.
• Chu Kuangren defeated Sword Greed and claimed his Azure Spirit Sword Box, then attended the Sword-Seizing Tournament, where Bai Qianjun challenged him and was badly beaten.

Chu Kuangren crushed the Demon Cultivators’ plans, saved Li Xingchen, and prepared Venerable Xuanqi for his tribulation. After Xuanqi became a Saint, Chu led the Mystic Heaven Sect to subdue the Greenwater Sword Sect and discovered the Four Seasons Sword Formation’s third stage was within reach.

• Chu Kuangren crossed the Heart Ladder, then created an Emperor Technique while debating the Dao with Whitebrow Saint.
• Chu Kuangren traveled to the Qian Kingdom, defeated the Demon Cultivators seeking Old Man Juexin’s Demon Heart, and broke through to the late-stage Battle King realm.
• Chu Kuangren refined Longevity Pills for Granny Meng and used the Soul-Hooking Cord to free Li Xingchen from Saint King Juexin’s possession.
• Chu Kuangren returned to the Mystic Heaven Sect and equipped Venerable Xuanqi with pills and Lightning-Deflecting Divine Needles for his tribulation.
