"Don't hurt me! I really didn't do anything. I've never killed anyone. I'm just a dealer."

Pinned firmly to the floor by Nick, the Fox Wesen pleaded through tears.

"Change back. You're about to scare yourself to death." Nick sounded exasperated. He turned his head slightly and covered his nose, but showed no intention of letting go.

This was the first time he had fully, directly experienced the bloodline suppression Grimms exerted over Wesen. Just over ten seconds of eye contact had scared the man into wetting himself. God only knew what the Grimms of earlier generations had done to their ancestors.

"Huff... huff... huff... o... okay, okay." The Fox Wesen shopkeeper struggled to take deep breaths through his sobs. It took him quite a while to recover.

"Tell me everything. Where did you get your supplies, and how do you contact those Vultures?"

"But they'll kill me..."

"Hmm?" Nick wondered whether the man had been frightened out of his senses. "So you think that if you keep quiet, I'll just arrest you?"

"Uh..." The Fox Wesen finally seemed to come to his senses a little and hurriedly asked, "Then can you guarantee they won't come after me?"

"I discussed another deal with you first last night, and even paid twenty thousand up front. What do you think?" Nick knew promises meant nothing to a born merchant like this Fox Wesen. Only an exchange of tangible financial benefits could truly bring him back to his senses.

"Well, all right." Looking miserable, the Fox Wesen merchant patted Nick's arm and gave him an ingratiating smile. "Then could you let go first and let me get off the floor?"

Nick snorted and released his collar, but before the man could react, he flipped his hand and pressed a P226 against his chest.
