• Nick connected Selvi’s murder to Robin Howell’s disappearance and followed matching boot prints to Eddie Monroe’s home.
• Eddie revealed that Nick was a Grimm who could see Wesen, then helped him track a Blutbad kidnapper to a cabin.
• Nick and Hancock confronted the killer, and Nick found Robin hidden in the cellar and carried her out alive.

Nick and Dahlia crossed the gorge, uncovered Black Lake’s experiments and fought their way back with evidence of the company’s crimes. They then set a trap for Black Lake’s leaders by using the Stray Dog nuclear plan, while the destruction of the Big Ears left the Canyon in chaos.

• Nick prepared the West Tower for winter, discovered Dahlia in the East Tower, and began communicating with her despite the ban.
• When Hollow Men climbed the cliffs, Nick and Dahlia fought them off together, then grew closer through lessons, gifts, and daily greetings.
• Nick built a rope crossing, and Dahlia crossed the gorge to visit him, where they shared a meal and talked about their pasts.
• After proximity mines snapped the rope and Dahlia fell into the gorge, Nick jumped after her and found her in the dangerous forest.
• Nick and Dahlia fought through Hollow Men and monstrous creatures, reached an abandoned bunker, and watched evidence of a biochemical disaster and Black Lake’s later research.

Nick survived the Canyon blast, brought Dahlia to Portland, and learned that his family had hunted dangerous Wesen for generations. After Aunt Mary became a guardian of the Library, Nick trained in Arizona and returned to Portland, where Dahlia was waiting for him.

• Nick escaped the nuclear blast with Dahlia and reached an FSB safe house before a flash of light transported them to his home in Portland.
• Nick settled Dahlia into his home, sought help finding her a legal identity, and began investigating Rocky’s disappearance at the Rabe estate.
• Aunt Mary returned, gave Nick a key connected to his parents’ deaths, and was gravely injured when Horda attacked them.
• Aunt Mary told Nick about the Grimms and their legacy, while Nick and Dahlia explored her trailer and discovered its weapons and journals.
• Nick and Wu uncovered the Rabes’ role in the Lohaz Ceremony, and Nick stopped the Bear Wesen from killing Rocky before police arrested Barry, Jason, TB, and Diana.
• A Hexenbiest and a disguised priest attacked Aunt Mary and Nick at the hospital, after which Galahad and Artie made Mary a guardian of the Library.
• Nick told Dahlia that Mary would return in three years, while Renard confronted Adalind over her failed attack on Nick.
• Nick received the assassins’ case file, held Aunt Mary’s funeral, trained at Gunsite Academy for a month, and returned to Portland in October to find Dahlia waiting at the airport.

Nick investigated Steven Bamford’s death and uncovered an organ-harvesting operation, then entered the Movie Ticket’s alien arena with Dahlia and a group of strangers. The group survived their first attack by the arena’s creatures, but remained stranded on the alien world.

• Nick and Hancock traced Steven Bamford’s death from his necklace to the free clinic, where Dr. Levin had treated him for a spider bite.
• Nick and Monroe confronted Fox Wesen dealer Frederick Calvert, who admitted selling powders made from human organs and gave Nick the supplier’s number.
• Nick and Dahlia used Gracie and Hansen to draw the kidnappers out, then joined Hancock and the ERT in raiding the Stable, where they rescued six survivors and Levin died fleeing.
• After the FBI took over the case, Nick entered the Movie Ticket’s next instance with Dahlia and found himself parachuting into a rainforest with armed strangers.
• Nick identified their situation as a Predator survival game, and the group discovered an Obsidian Pillar, dropped crates of dangerous creatures, traps, and evidence of earlier victims.
• The group climbed beyond the rainforest and saw an alien planet beneath a ringed companion and shattered moons, then faced an attack by monsters.
• Nick and Dahlia fought the creatures with the others, using Upas tree poison against one monster, until a strange whistle made the remaining attackers flee.
